L.A. Jackson in the Gulch is a fancy rooftop bar at the top of the Thompson Hotel and oh my, it is wonderful. Go through the doors of the Thompson Hotel and find the elevators to the right to access the rooftop. Don’t forget your ID… they care EVERYONE, even grandmas and are 21+ only.

The views of the city are incredible; wear a cute outfit and take some photos! This is a great place to go for a girls’ night out. Order a fancy cocktail and split a double cheeseburger and fries… trust me. Let them know if you’re celebrating a special event like a birthday… they might give you free champagne! Oh, and on the weekends they usually have a DJ playing awesome early 2000’s hits.
